Privacy policy

Reckonda Music LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States, operates Reckonda. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, catalog workspace, listening links and upload requests. Contact us at hello@reckonda.com.

Information we handle

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your account identifier, email address, verification status and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture, through Supabase Auth. We use this information to authenticate you, maintain your account and apply workspace and recipient permissions. Authentication records are stored by Supabase. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or music-platform accounts through this sign-in flow.

You can disconnect Reckonda in your Google account connections. Disconnecting Google does not by itself delete your Reckonda account or catalog. Contact us to request deletion. We do not sell Google account information, use it for advertising or use it to train general-purpose AI models.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure accounts and workspaces; store, process and play uploaded files; manage versions and reversible metadata; carry out sharing, review, intake and export requests; display activity to authorized collaborators; send service emails; respond to support requests; and maintain backups and investigate failures or abuse. Audio processing creates listening copies and waveform information while retaining the uploaded original.

Where a legal basis is required, we process information as necessary to provide the requested service, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests in security, reliability and support. We rely on consent where applicable. You can contact us about the basis used for a particular activity.

Who can receive information

Workspace owners and other authorized members can access information according to their permissions. Shared links disclose the selected material to their intended recipients. A link configured for anyone holding it can be forwarded. Recipients may retain downloaded copies even after a link is revoked. Upload-request submissions become available to the authorized workspace team.

We use service providers to run Reckonda: Supabase for authentication, databases and private document storage; Hetzner for application hosting, music files and encrypted backups; Cloudflare for domain services; Google when you choose Google sign-in; and Resend for transactional email. Providers process the information needed for their roles. Account data, files and backups may be processed in the United States, Europe and other locations where we or our providers operate. Our current application, database and music-storage infrastructure is in Europe.

Authorized personnel may access information when necessary for support, security or operations. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate confidentiality and continued privacy protections. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use uploaded music or private catalog documents to train general-purpose AI models.

Cookies and browser storage

The workspace uses essential cookies and browser storage for authentication, session handling and product preferences. Listening pages record first-party activity as described above. Our public product pages do not include advertising trackers. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or other features from working. The service does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain catalog history, resolve disputes, protect security and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and its purpose. Contact us to request account closure or deletion; we may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant workspace.

Closing a personal account does not automatically delete material held in a workspace controlled by another organization. That organization's authorized records and history may need to remain. Copies can also remain in restricted backups until those backups are removed. Revoking a share prevents new access through that link but cannot recall copies recipients already downloaded.

Your choices and rights

You can manage available profile and sharing settings, leave workspaces where supported, and request help with access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information at hello@reckonda.com. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, appeal a decision or complain to a data protection authority. We will handle requests as required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against people for exercising privacy rights.

If your organization controls a workspace, direct requests about its records to that organization as well. We may process those records on its behalf. Please only upload personal information you have authority to provide.

Age and policy changes

Reckonda accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the effective date and give additional notice of material changes where required. Planned royalty audits and recovery services are not part of the current catalog workspace; any new data uses will be explained before those services are introduced.
